Every business deserves to run on numbers it can trust.

We're controllers who work with construction, trades, and engineering businesses. We know how these companies make money, where the numbers get harder to manage as they grow, and what an owner needs to see to make a confident decision.
That's what we build for every client.

We work with incorporated businesses that are growing faster than their financial systems. More crews, more jobs, bigger equipment decisions. The decisions are getting bigger, and you need numbers that keep up.
That's where Cadence Accounting comes in.
When bookkeeping alone isn't enough, we provide fractional controller support. Every month, your books are closed, reconciliations are done, and job costs, progress billings, and holdbacks are tracked where they belong. We add budgets and reporting built around the metrics that matter to you. When it's time to price a job, hire, or grow, you already know where you stand.
We work remotely with clients across Canada. You get a senior finance team that knows your industry, speaks plainly, and stays with you month after month, not just at year-end.

I bring hands-on controller experience from years in in-house financial roles, where I ran full-cycle accounting from day-to-day entries through year-end. I know what it takes to keep a company's books accurate, current, and CRA-ready.
I specialize working with trades and project-based businesses. Providing monthly close, payroll, GST/PST filings, budgeting, and custom metrics, so owners always know where they stand and what's coming. I keep deadlines on track and turn financial data into answers owners can act on.
When not in the numbers, I'm on my mountain bike or out skiing.

I bring over a decade of finance experience with growing businesses. I know the full accounting cycle inside and out, and build the financial processes that hold it all together.
As a controller for trades and project-based businesses, I enjoy sitting down with owners to talk through what their numbers mean. I'm QuickBooks Online certified and bring university-level accounting training through Athabasca University's Bachelor of Commerce program. Software can record a transaction, but it takes real accounting knowledge to know whether it's right.
When not in the numbers, I'm out hiking and camping in the mountains, playing piano, or working on a creative project.
